Warrant of Fitness
A Warrant of Fitness is required either every 6 months or 12 months depending on the age of the vehicle. We also do WOF repairs onsite (& with permission) if your vehicle is slightly off the mark, as well as a re-inspection.
Why choose us?
Here at Auto Super Shoppe Kapiti, we have fully-qualified WOF inspectors. We can do repairs, re-inspections, and more.
Experienced Inspectors
All WOF inspectors are fully experienced in vehicle mechanics and servicing, and review updates regularly by liaising with New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) for all WOF requirements.
Our WOFs are unique
Our workshop is one of the few inspection sites where the vehicle is subjected to a full test lane check – slip plate to check your wheel alignment, shaker plates to check shock absorbers, and a roller road to check your brakes.
Did you know? It’s a good idea to combine your WOF and vehicle service, because WOF inspections do not cover all aspects of your vehicle. For example engine, clutch, gearbox and differential; lubricant levels and condition; brake pad thickness or life expectancy; and paint work condition and rust in non-structural areas are not checked in WOF inspections, but they can be checked as part of a vehicle service.
