Methven Motor Services – operating since 1989

Andrew Leask started the business along with Graham McPhail and five others in May of 1989. Brent McDonald joined the company one year later.

Andrew and Brent both have a passion for anything with an engine attached. And also a passion for the Methven area with all of its back country benefits and small town friendly atmosphere.

Methven Motors has come a long way from its original site on the corner of Forest Drive and McMillan Street, moving to the current location on Main Street in 1994 which includes a fully equipped 6 bay workshop, Bridgestone Tyre Department and a Genesis Gas Services depot along with a fully equipped Service Station. There are now 20 staff including five auto technicians, three auto electrical technicians, two tyre technicians, office staff and servo attendants.
