Mechanix has been owned and operated by Paul Nielson since 2002.

With 4 qualified mechanics and one apprentice, this team has collective experience of over 80 years and can offer a wide range of services which include WOF inspections, oil and filter changes, brakes, CV joints, cambelt replacement, clutch repairs, exhausts, radiators, car batteries, and much more. Specialist equipment on hand are scan tools, oscilloscope, brake tester, auto trans flush machine, brake lathe, truck repair tools, injector flush machine.

Customers keep coming back because we offer good service and a fast turnaround, honest advice and quality workmanship backed by our personal guarantee. Our customers come from mainly Point Chevalier, Mount Albert, Western Springs, Grey Lynn, St Lukes, Waterview and Avondale. But we do have customers who come from as far away as Huapai, North Shore, City and West due to the relationship that we have formed with our customers over the years.

We support local - all our sponsorship stays in Point Chev and surrounds. Western Springs College, Pasadena Intermediate, and three local kindergartens are our favourite locals that we choose to support.

We are also big fans of Westpac Rescue Helicopters, and continue to support them as well.
